Kristy Mio

Owner

Kristy and her husband, Chris, have lived in Fruitland, Idaho, for most of their lives.  They were Fruitland High School sweethearts and have loved raising their family in the Treasure Valley.  She has done bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll for over 30 years until God opened the door to real estate investing.  She has a passion for improving this area for all who live here.  Kristy is the numbers nerd behind the Straight Path Team and enjoys spreadsheets, QuickBooks, gardening, volleyball, singing on worship team at her church, and playing with her three adorable grand-babies!

Straight Path Investing is truly a family affair, with Kristy and her son-in-law, Ryan, being business partners, Ashley (far right) designing the logo and our resident marketing guru, and Ryan’s wife, Courtney (second from left), helping out with bookkeeping, decorating and design implementation, and chasing after the youngest members of the team.  Kristy’s husband, Chris (second from right), is support staff (head chef, housekeeper, and chicken tender during the winter when he’s not doing his day job–farming.)

Ryan and Courtney are FOURTH generation Fruitland High School sweethearts and have deep roots in Fruitland.  They purchased their first home in 2019 from Courtney’s parents, Chris & Kristy–an old farmhouse built in 1920 with the coolest old barn ever, on a 26-acre field.  They worked as a team to completely renovate and remodel the farmhouse, where Ryan learned a ton about working on old homes and how to resolve all the issues that come up along the way.  This experience put a desire in Ryan’s heart to restore more houses; and, when the timing was right, God put an incredible educational opportunity in front of Kristy & Ryan, and Straight Path Investing LLC was born.
